Gerry Flaherty from Claregalway recently ran a Golf Classic in support of the Liver Unit in St. Vincent’s, raising a terrific sum of almost €1,400.

Gerry, his wife Patricia and daughter Saranne have been consistent supporters of St. Vincent’s. Saranne previously raised a substantial sum for the Liver Unit, where she herself had been a patient.

We are really grateful to the Flaherty family and all who supported this Golf event.

  2. Christine Kearney’s Easter Raffle for Breast Cancer

No festive season would be complete without a raffle or other fundraiser by Christine Kearney. Christine planned for this Easter over many months, gathering and creating great prizes. With a wonderful display of delights and with Easter bunnies (Christine, her friend Catherine and daughter Katie) selling tickets, the draw was a great success raising €1,525.00 for Breast Cancer research and care. It also generated a terrific environment in the hospital aided by a mystery Easter egg hunt.
