Projects Supported By Donors

Here we have a selection of projects that were financed by generous donations from Friends of St. Vincent’s.

 

 

A Treatment chair for patients in Haematology,  which enhances the environment for patients undergoing procedures.

 

 

 A Leucapheresis Machine for collecting patients blood cells. This was financed by two families who had lost loved ones to blood diseases. The new machine is very much quicker and more reliable and less stressful on the patients. Thanks to two families it now takes 60 minutes rather than 3 hours for treatment.

 

Chairs for patients and their families in the Cystic Fibrosis Unit. This gives much more comfort particularly when family members are staying with a patient overnight.

 

 

Guidance and contact material for CF patients including fridge stickers etc.
