Income & Grants Policy
St. Vincent’s Foundation is committed to the greatest possible transparency in handling donations and grants while maintaining the privacy of those involved.
Donors and Fundraisers
St. Vincent’s Foundation (SVF) maintains a database of Donors and Fundraisers which will be easily accessible to the public.
Details of Donors will remain confidential unless SVF is specifically requested by the Donor to publicise the details. Otherwise Donors will be able to recognise their own donation by reference to the donation date and amount. Where donations are made in lieu of funeral flowers, the next of kin will be notified, where possible.
Fundraisers will be individually identified in the publicly accessible database if they have requested to be identified by name and amount raised. Otherwise they will be able to recognise their contribution by reference to presentation date and amount.
In line with our Donor Charter, all Donors and Fundraisers will receive a written acknowledgment of their contribution within one week of making the presentation provided that they supply SVF with name and address details.
Where funds are contributed for a specific cause within St.Vincent’s, they are recorded accordingly and restricted to that cause.
St Vincent’s Foundation is committed to the greatest possible transparency in handling donations and grants while maintaining the privacy of the people involved.
All grants made by St Vincent’s Foundation are posted on this website. The details include the date of the grant, the amount, the cause supported and the source of the funds.
Decisions on grant applications of more than €2,000 are made on an independent basis by the Board of St Vincent’s Foundation. Decisions below this level are delegated to the CEO of St Vincent’s Foundation.
