Des Furlong Memorial Tournament …. Update !

Our own Helen McVeigh had the pleasure of meeting members of the Furlong Family in Co Wexford for a cheque presentation at CLG Naomh Pádraig, following the hugely successful Des Furlong Memorial Tournament in August. The final total raised was €9,505.70 which will be allocated to the work of St. Vincent’s University Hospital I.C.U. team.

Joining Helen were generations of the family, along with a few friends and the local newspaper photographer! Our thanks again go to Des’ wife, Fiona, their daughters Teghan and Abbie and his mum Stasia – all of whom were part of the event and cheque presentation. We appreciate your touching support and hospitality and are delighted your event so successful.
