Eamonn & Mary Burke, New Year’s Day Swim 2013 for Liver Unit

Eamonn & Mary Burke from Arklow again organised their New Year’s Day Swim in Arklow for the Liver Unit in St. Vincent’s.

Eamonn is a liver transplant recipient. He and Mary recently called in (see photo above) to present the proceeds from this year’s event, which raised a magnificent sum of €6,300. On a clear but cold day Eamonn and Mary had nearly 50 people taking part which was fantastic.
