1,200 in Memory of Linda Connor

On the 12th Anniversary of the death of Linda O’Connor from Belmullet, County Mayo, 12 of her family and friends covered 1,200 miles (run/walk/cycle) in the month of March. The idea to do this was stimulated by Linda’s son Nathan to mark his 18th birthday.
Rachel McBride set up an iDonate fundraising page for this event, with funds to be divided between Oncology care here in St. Vincent’s (where Linda was looked after during her battle with Liver Cancer) and Cara Iarrais in Belmullet. A fantastic total of €8,052 was raised and St. Vincent’s are delighted to receive €4,026.
