Everest Base Camp fundraising for Cancer Research in St. Vincent’s

09/08/2017

Best of luck to St. Vincent’s University Hospital employee Kasia Marcinowska, who is doing the Everest Base Camp trek in October. This is a 3 week trek in Nepal from Lukla to the Base Camp of Mount Everest.  On the way to the Base Camp Kasia will face different challenges such as altitude effects and will experience extreme weather conditions.

Kasia who works in Medical H.R. Dept. in St. Vincent’s, is fundraising for Cancer Research here in St. Vincent’s. In her fundraising page she states “I’ve created this page because I want to support cancer research in Ireland. I believe that thanks to this research more lives can be saved sooner and even the smallest help can make a difference. I also want this initiative to add another meaning and motivate me during the Everest Base Camp trek which my team and I will start on 16th October 2017. Please help me to support Cancer Research in St. Vincent’s

If you would like to support Kasia’s fundraising efforts, please donate via her Everyday Hero fundraising page on https://give.everydayhero.com/ie/everest-base-camp-2
