Exercise equipment purchase for I.C.U. from a grateful patient and their family

Celebrating his great outcome from treatment in St. Vincent’s, Joel Durand and his wife Katia and their extended family, purchased an exercise bicycle for the I.C.U. Dept. in the hospital.
This unique piece of equipment, which cost in excess of €5,000, enables patients to exercise while confined to bed. Due to an increase in the level of input and control required by the patients, it makes a tremendous contribution to their wellbeing and recovery. We are really grateful to Katia and Joel for this wonderful gift to our patients. They recently called in and met with staff from I.C.U. and the Plastics Team.
